World’s Top Experts Kick Off Internet Infrastructure Forum (IIF)



BEIJING, Nov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — During Global Network Technology Conference at Beijing on Nov 28th morning, several world’s top Internet experts together launched the Internet Infrastructure Forum (IIF), which was initiated by BII Group. Dr. Vinton Cerf, Father of Internet, who has been known as the evangelist of IPv6 for decades, encouraged the Internet industry to collectively implement IPv6 for the global good. Other speakers also discussed how emerging network technologies would guarantee the development of Internet infrastructure, as well as technologies including IPv6, DNS, access technologies, security and privacy, among others.

VANCOUVER, Nov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ – As a result of a review by the British Columbia Securities Commission, Garibaldi Resources (TSX.V: GGI) (the “Company” or “Garibaldi”) is issuing the following news release to clarify the disclosure in its news release of November 20, 2017.

In Garibaldi’s November 20, 2017, news release, the Company provided accurate assay results for the first four holes of the E&L Nickel Mountain drill program and information pertaining to a 16.7-meter nickel-copper-rich massive sulphide intercept (closely approximately true width) east of the historic E&L deposit in a new discovery zone unique to the Eskay Camp.

A map showing cross sections for those holes has already been posted to the home page of the Garibaldi web site (http://www.garibaldiresources.com/i/maps/GGI-Drill-Map-Nov-27-2017.jpg). Below are tables for drill hole coordinates as well as significant intervals that were reported November 20.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)

Garibaldi Resources has applied a rigorous quality assurance/quality control program at the E&L Nickel Mountain Project using best industry practice. All core was logged by a professional geoscientist and selected intervals were sampled. NQ2 drill core was sawn in half and each sample half was placed in a marked sample bag with a corresponding sample tag then sealed. The remaining half core is retained in core boxes that are stored at a secure facility in Smithers, British Columbia. Chain of custody of samples was recorded and maintained for all samples from the drill to the laboratory.

All diamond drilling sample batches included 5% QA/QC samples consisting of certified blanks, standards and field duplicates. Two certified ore assay laboratory standards and one blank standard were used in the process and were supplied by CDN Resource Laboratories Ltd., an independent laboratory located in Langley, British Columbia. Samples were submitted to SGS Canada Inc. in Vancouver, British Columbia, an ISO 9001: 2008 certified lab, for base metal, sulphur and precious metal analysis using Inductivity Coupled Plasma (ICP), Fire Assay (FA) and Leco methods.

Samples were prepared by crushing the entire sample to 75% passing 2mm, riffle splitting 250g and pulverizing the split to better than 85% passing 75 microns. Gold, platinum and palladium were analyzed using a 30 gram fire assay and ICP-AES. Total sulfur and total carbon were analyzed using a Leco method. Nickel, copper, cobalt, silver and base metals were analyzed by sodium peroxide fusion and ICP-MS.

The performance on the blind standards, blanks and duplicates achieved high levels of accuracy and reproducibility and has been verified by Everett Makela, a Qualified Person as defined by NI-43-101.

Makela, P.Geo., Director/VP Exploration Canada for the Company, and a Qualified Person as defined by NI-43-101, has supervised the preparation of, reviewed and approved of, the disclosure of information in this news release. Rocky Mountain Recycling Launches New Sorting Equipment Critical to Reducing Landfill Waste

SALT LAKE CITY, Nov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — In response to Salt Lake City’s new recycling ordinance, Rocky Mountain Recycling is setting the standard for commercial and multi-family waste diversion and material recovery.

The recycling ordinance, effective Jan. 4, 2018, requires all business and multi-family units to implement onsite recycling programs utilizing specialized bins provided by local solid waste haulers. Rocky Mountain Recycling, seven-time recipient of Utah’s Best of State award, will provide the critical processing infrastructure to process and sort this recovered material with a state-of-the-art system of conveyors and screens, and then bale and ship it to end markets all over the world.

Changzhou Tiansheng New Materials and China Railway Hi-Tech Industry to set up urban rail transit JV



CHANGZHOU, China, Nov. 29, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — China’s Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges simultaneously announced that China Railway Hi-Tech Industry Corporation Limited and Changzhou Tiansheng New Materials plan to set up a joint venture, China Railway New Rail Transit Vehicle Co., and locate the JV’s main production facility in Changzhou Natioanal Hi-tech District, Jiangsu province.

China Railway Hi-Tech Industry is a subsidiary of China Railway Group Limited, is one of the world’s top 500 companies.  The parent now has a number of key member groups under its wing, including China Railway Shanhaiguan Bridge Group and China Railway Engineering Service. China Railway Group Limited is now China’s largest and the world’s second largest manufacturer of tunnel boring machines (TBMs) in terms of market share.

Changzhou Tiansheng New Materials, listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s GEM board, is not only a well-known Chinese firm dedicated to the production of new macromolecule materials, but also is a Chinese high-tech firm mainly engaged in the design of complete rail transit vehicles as well as in the R&D and production of core components for the vehicles, with strong competences in the design of the vehicles as well as of the lightweight new materials that go into their design. The specialized competences extend to the assembly of and parts supply for the vehicles.   

The JV will manufacture a wide range of rail transit vehicles especially designed for urban environments, including straddle-type and suspended monorail trains, magnetic suspension (maglev) trains, tram vehicles, high-speed commuter trains, rubber-tyred metro vehicles and systems, smart virtual rail systems and subway trains.

The JV is expected to become the first Chinese manufacturer of new urban rail transit vehicles that will be owned by both the Chinese central government and private investors. Backed by the Chinese government, the JV is also expected to become a leading manufacturer in China’s new urban rail transit industry, with the ability to offer a wide range of rail transit vehicles and a complete portfolio of engineering equipments, backed by strong competences in R&D and the design of new products as well as in marketing and financing.
